Blogs I Read

I'm finding more and more that blogging is like writing. I mean, of course it's writing, but the act of blogging takes the same kind of determination that you need to finish a novel. You could do it today, but you're probably going to put it off until November, because why waste words now when you have to write 50,000 of them for National Novel Writing Month? So I asked myself: why do people write for National Novel Writing Month? And I think the answer is that they've got a few hundred thousand other nut jobs writing with them. Thus, when you blog, you're probably going to want some blogging friends, if you're anything like me. These are mine.

Apprentice, Never Master - following an excellent writer through her short fiction, rambling thoughts, and "why I love" posts. Being one of the best writers I know, you'll be elbow deep in splendid posts before you know it!

Building a Door - who blogs through the power of to-do lists and prompts, being an inspiration to me and my blogging goals. Her posts delve into a myriad of topics, all of which I find highly interesting, and she also writes the Legal Theft Project with the blogger mentioned above.

Adventures in Conquering - being a fellow work-and-holiday-er in Australia, who will be chronicling our adventures in... well, conquering.

550 Words or Less - being the honest reviews of a reader, from romance to fantasy to picture books! Excellent reviews, plus additional posts about literature, film, and whatever else might catch the author's fancy.
